Glasgow photographer George Monaghan who covers most of the Central belt of Scotland but mainly in the Glasgow, Paisley, Renfrewshire, Port Glasgow, Greenock, Johnstone, Barrhead, Neilston, Clydebank, Dumbarton, Alexandria, Bearsden, Erskine, East Kilbride, Linwood, Kirkintilloch, Lenzie, Lennoxtown, Milton of Campsie, Dalry as far north to Stirling, Perth or Fort William and as far east as East Lothian or Edinburgh city. Contemporary style, traditional and reportage wedding pictures taken. I prefer to work with a combination of formal and more relaxed traditional styled poses. See the web links for some up to date pictures. Most weddings would be covered by a second photographer who would work with the Groom and Best Man up to the ceremony. Thereafter to take some candid shots of the day and posed images with guests and family etc. This allows the second photographer to keep the wedding guests occupied while the more formal shots are recorded. Many of the guests can have their own portraits taken while they wait for the main meal to be served or the arrival of the Bride, Groom and remainder of the wedding party. Your big day needs to be captured your way in still images and we will do our utmost to record it to your style or wishes. After the cake has been eaten, the decorations have been pulled down, the Bridal dress placed away in a closet or case, your children have grown up and flown the coop - you should have these images to look back on. Your old Auntie, Grandma, Mum and Dat recorded for many years to come. It is only as we grow older that the true value of these images become apparent. A permanent record of your day with all your family and friends enjoying your big occasion - never to be forgotten. Now lets hope that all of us who live in Glasgow, well Scotland, get the right weather on the day. It’s one of the few elements we cannot control for your wedding - for the rest we have the event planners - usually “you” Get it right and get the images you will want to look at in 50 years time when you hopefully celebrate those other Golden moments, Diamonds are forever - your pictures should also be forever, for the generations ahead of you. Taking the images is only the start of the process much of the work, in fact most of the labour involved is in post production processes. Wedding album production can take many weeks before the final process is finished and you are happy with what is within it All this is not cheap and some albums cost many £100’s of pounds if they are produced abroad. Equally that can be the case her in the UK. The time spent capturing these images will be valued many years from now. The cost and effort involved is not cheap. Should you wish a cheap or should I say inexpensive photographer then please look elsewhere for your needs. I do have an inexpensive package for a civil ceremony with a few guests at the registry office (for example Park Circus in Glasgow) at a cost of £450 approx., or so. If that suits your needs then please get in touch as I do have links with other photographers should we be booked for your date. I hope you truly enjoy you big day and you remember it for all the right reasons. Do not leave it to chance. Look around for someone who can work with you and within your budget. The pictures will still be there - when all else has gone - please remember that fact - for those who follow on from you.

Model portfolios, glamour pictures, are also undertaken either at home address, outdoors or in the studio. Glamour photographs are also taken where the subject can be suitably airbrushed as required to give a -model- look to your images. Should you really want to look your best then we can achieve much with digital imaging. Want pictures to remember many years from now - while still in your “younger days”? These sessions are generally about 90 minutes in duration and cost around £130 for a CD of the best images taken during the session.
